I have started practicing since I read this, it actually has been helping with a few words but it's only been seven days so I doubt I'll see any massive leaps in progress for a little while. I make sure to read aloud everyday but that has only been alleviating it slightly. Thanks! My stutter does what it wants too... I can talk to some people quasi-fluently one day then not even say hello the next, I think people think I'm just a bit of a dick hahaha. I was completely fluent from 18 to 22. It was glorious and I still have some of the confidence from when I didn't stutter, kind of makes it even more wounding when I block completely though. Glad I kept some of the self esteem though, I don't know if I could manage without it. I say it's okay to chase fluency... we all do? Even when I was younger and always stuttered, though not severely, I still chased the fluency other people had.
