i've been to one of the manhattan meetups. they were good people but i didnt feel like i could connect with anyone there. they all stuttered like me, but it felt like stuttering was just a secondary thing for them. like they all were successful people with good careers and marriages and friends despite their speech impediment. i have none of those things, so i just felt like a loser who didnt belong
