Speech Therapy Helpful for You? Hello everyone :), I'm a speech therapist and I have several students right now who stutter. I wanted to ask you a few questions: 1. Did you receive speech therapy as a child? 2. If so, for how long? 3. Do you feel like it helped you? 4. Which part of it helped you the most? 5. What did it help you to be able to do? 6. Speech therapy included (but also counseling, teachers, or any other person/animal/activity in your life) what do you feel has helped you the most with managing your stuttering so far? Thank you so much in advance for any responses to any of the questions. :) I appreciate your honesty and want to make sure I'm helping these kids to accomplish something important to them in the ways that best help them.
