repetition is one of the techniques used in effective communication for stutterers already. I use it every day when speaking to patients. I can tell they didn't understand what I said but are too polite to ask me to say it again- so I say it again anyway and the 2nd time is always more fluent. Try this trick. When you anticipate a block, keep your voice going from the previous word and start the new word instantaneously.
