This must change right now OP. This is what you have to do. Write the teacher an email and explain how wrong you find the whole situation. The next lesson the teacher must explain the class that the laughter was unappropriate and that this can not repeat in the future. If the teacher is an ashole you can write someone else in the school. Do it. Just do it. It will not make your life worse, only better.
