Professional stutterer here for 40 years. What reaction they give should really not matter to you. But if it does bother you, just let them know that you’ve a stutter. I can bet that if I start talking to you and stuttering, you wouldn’t know how to react. You’ll have the same look on your face that most people have. So it’s not their fault.
