same thing with me. I dont think you can forgot about stuttering. Trying to forget or focusing on forgetting will only remind you there is something you should be forgetting, and thus you'll remember. I think the more effective way is to consciously dismantle negative feelings you have about stuttering. so I think the best solution isnt forgetting you stutter, but not knowing that stuttering is stuttering. Or not knowing that stuttering is a bad thing. That way when it happens, its not an issue. there isn't this big label or negative self referencing associated with it.
