Looking for parent experiences with speech therapy homework and practice Hi everyone, I hope this is ok to post here. I am looking to learn from parents or carers of children who receive speech and language therapy. I have supported my younger brother through the school system and I am trying to understand what practice looks like between sessions, what helps, and what makes it hard to stay consistent. If you are comfortable, I would really appreciate replies in the comments. Please keep it general, no names or personal details. Questions 1. What age is your child and what kind of speech and language support are they receiving 2. What does between session practice usually look like at home in a typical week 3. What makes practice easiest to start, and what most often causes it to slip 4. What have you tried that did not work, even though you had good intentions 5. What seems to motivate your child most, games, routine, rewards, school support, something else 6. What would make practice feel easier for you as a parent or carer 7. If you have had a good experience, what was the main thing that made the difference 8. What would you want to avoid in any practice approach, for example stress, screen time, frustration, pressure 9. If you could change one thing about between session support, what would it be Thank you so much in advance.
