Well it sounds like you've come a long way but this is one side of your stutter you havent accepted yet. Maybe it's a worry about not making a good first impression or something. I just try to focus on making sure they can hear me say my name and that I get it out. their reaction and everything else is totally secondary. Even if i stutter on my name, i'll still have the rest of the interaction to show them who i am.
