Do languages affect stutter? Today I was with my psycologist and we discovered that the tension I produce is from the neck and also from the back of the tongue. Also, she said me I speak from the throat (like the opposite from the opera singers) and that doesn't allow me to get air out in order to speak. The thing is that I'm from the north of Spain and there we talk much harder than in the south. Also, spanish is quite rude in general. Hard sounds, you know. Do you know if there are more stutterers in the countries with harder languages? What do you think about that?
