One foot in front of the other. One day at a time. I skipped/avoided a ton of things in my younger years. Have I done everything I wish I had? no - but I have made some great gains. You're still in your 20's. You still have time to make some great changes. Honestly, I think you need to just stick your foot in the water and try things. I would start by literally just doing anything. Art gallery, public events, go for a walk in public around other people. You might be surprised by how much it can help to just be around new people and experience things. Experiencing things might look like people watching at the park or dancing next to a stranger at a concert. I struggle with depression. One thing I've learned about motivating myself and growing is that sometimes we need a jump start.. something to inspire dopamine in your brain. If you haven't been doing much - it might not be hard to find a reason to smile... I would encourage you to try to return to school if you're able to do that. Educational environments can offer a lot in terms of new ideas, motivation and meeting people that will look beyond a speech impediment. Consider trying to join some type of team sport or activity. I believe in you!
