I really dont like this new mindset in speech pathology that is so against trying to improve one’s speech. I’m a 34 year old man who’s had a mild stutter and have never felt shame about it, even as a child, yet any time I’ve tried to find help I get someone trying to lay me down on a couch and get me to accept a condition I accepted 25 years ago.
