My problem is with people making a conscious decision to have a child, knowing they might have some health problems/handicaps, like the guy I replied to. Like people with down syndrome having babies, not cool in my book. However you were always told it wasn't a bloodline thing so there's that, you didn't know. You can only do your best now, if he'll eventually develop a stutter immediately take him to a speech therapist. Anyway there might me some truth to what you're saying. My mom (as my grandfather) told me she stuttered for a while when she was younger, but then it completely went away, while raising me she was the best orator I knew. Then when I grew older and started stuttering, after a few years of living together she started stuttering to, and still does to this day, it came back basically. I always blamed myself for that, like she got it from me, and then she told me that she also stuttered when she was young, otherwise I wouldn't have known.
