I'm a speech pathologist -- no, that generally isn't a factor in developmental stuttering, though fatigue can of course make you 'slur' somewhat. Muscle fatigue is a big factor in dysarthria but that is an entirely different motor speech disorder and is typically caused by a neurological problem like a stroke.
