I think you're right, a lot of people don't know how to deal with a pws. A few weeks ago I had a talk with a few neighbours. One of them has a severe stutter after a big accident 27 years ago. I talk to him now and then and wait, nothing more. (and tell him not to say sorry it he has a big block.. he says that a lot) But a few neighbours were also talking over him if he had a big block, I hated it...... What you wright about your mom and sis... I think that a lot of people think that way. Good that you told them about your feelings!
