I have not cured it. The knowledge and the solutions I found are not a magic pill that instantly 'cures' my stammer. But it has helped me a lot. I talk more fluently. Theoretically, it is possible to overcome it. However, I still have not fully addressed the problems that caused my stutter. My family doesn't take my theories and requests seriously. My parents think it's foolish. Our home is bad. I still have no community. I know my theories sound foolish. I would have thought the same 3 years ago. However, if not convinced, you can try reading "lost connections" by Johann Hari. His book focuses on depression, but the lessons are relevant. Also try reading on attachment theory.
