Try to stay calm and level in your overall thinking. I’m 43 and have all but eliminated it. I’ve stuttered since the 3rd grade. You have to practice talking in a variety of settings and at length. Practice fat to skinny breathing, where you inhale deeply then begin speaking. Usually when you are really stuttering you find you are out of breath, or have been breathing shallowly. Deep breaths! Calm general anxiety by breathing, and remain stubborn and resilient.
