I agree, it makes me uncomfortable as well. I would say that this guy has a pretty severe stutter, whereas I could classify mine as just mild. But I don't find stutters charming, or quirky, or cute, or anything like that. They're just annoying to the people trying to listen. It's not something that should be made a gimmick of. Not saying that's what this guy is trying to do, but the way America's Got Talent frames it definitely veers it in that direction.
