You didn't scare me at all, that's one of the reasons I posted here. I tried to look online for something that matched what I was going through, but I really couldn't find anything other than for people who have a lifelong stutter, or for people who have suffered neurological damage, and I'm pretty sure mine is nothing life threatening but I do understand I need to get it checked off the list of possibilities. To me personally, it feels simular to an anxiety attack, which makes me assume that my body is going into flight/fight mode over things it shouldn't, but I'll still set up the appointment just to be on the safe side.
