It's already known that head trauma can cause stuttering, so that's nothing new. Positing that a stutter is a habit is just absolutely ridiculous. I'm not even going to humor it except to say: habits can be unlearned. Stutters can't. And I don't really find it useful or helpful when that theory is tossed about, which is why it's 'taboo'. It serves no purpose other than to make stutterers second guess and blame themselves for something they have no control over. >So, it proves that stuttering is not a neurological problem in most cases. It absolutely does not.
