As an adult in their 30’s who stutters, there is not a lot of speech therapy targeting adults available where I am. Even when I did speech therapy as a child, it was not great or useful. I have started reading about experiences shared from other stutterers about what has worked for them. I know each situation is different but you may be able to pick out solutions that worked for others which may be worth trying based on your unique stuttering patterns. There are a lot of free resources out there or books to read if you buy them or even rent them from the library. One that I am currently reading now is Redefining Stuttering by John Harrison after reading about some of his previous work about the ‘stuttering hexagon’.
