Understandably, this can be a very stressful time for people, especially those of us who stutter and are forced to look for another job. Perhaps you can speak with your boss or HR department to see if you can transition into another role, internally? If not, the only option you will have is to keep applying for jobs and polishing up your resume to reflect your skills and experience. Do not be ashamed to disclose your stutter to a prospective hiring manager. You’ll be surprised how understanding they can be. If not, then they are not worth working for, so move on to the next opportunity. I wish you all the best in your search. I know how stressful this can be for us stutterers. I use to be a contractor and each time my contract was finally finished, it was very stressful having to look for another contract. So I do understand the pressure you’re facing.
