I was in therapy as a young child, then a few times as an teenager/adult. I've never really found therapy very helpful to be honest. The only time that I found some utility for it was my most recent therapist (at age 20). She was a private therapist, so that means an excessively high price because most insurance companies do not cover speech therapy. I enjoyed my time with her as she let me just talk about my feelings on stuttering much like a psychological therapist would.
