Coffee makes mine worse too. I no longer drink it and I’m much more fluent. Caffeine blocks adenosine in the brain, which is what helps your body relax and eventually sleep. If you block it, it makes you feel adrenaline, jittery and sometimes more anxious. All things you need to avoid feeling when you have a stuttering problem. I now drink calming, herbal teas instead.
