Hello fellow dev! The "a" sound of "software developer" troubles you? Yea, communication is important as a dev. However, as a developer, stuttering doesnt seem to be a big deal if you dont make it one. I worked with a great guy a while back who was one of the worst stutterers i have ever heard. He was great at his job, and a funny guy. IDK if this helps, but make sure you do the simple stuff to take care of yourself like healthy diet and exercise. I find that i talk better when i feel better. Talk slowly and take deep breathe before you talk. As a dev, you can get away with a fair amount of emails/instant messaging, instead of talking. But yea sometimes a screen share/video call is needed for complicated code convos.
