This is a very interesting post. I'm 26 and in medical school and I've been considering asking my doctor for some anti-anxiety meds but she seems reluctant and wants me to do speech therapy. I think ignorant people will be too quick to fear these kinds of medications, but I think the addiction potential is less than people think. Also, I would think that fellow stutters should relate to just how debilitating the anxiety can be. How long have you taken it? Have you had any tolerance? Any need to up your dose? I'm very curious about your progress and I really hope it works for you!
