Stutter's rant: People loosing attention One of thing to hate about the stutter is how it affect conversations. When I stutter heavly during a conversation the first thought that pops to my mind, aside from completing my sentence, is how not to loose my friend's attention. The problem with that is this making me even more stressed out, and stutter even more! Now, whats getting me realy upset, angry and embaressed is when they just loose attention because "untill he ends with his stutter I can talk to someone else, or do X, Z and Y." Not only this is VERY, but **VERY** disreaspectful, but this can also make the stutterer, in this case - me, to loose even the slightest confidence with my stutter that I gained in the past few days/weeks. So please, next time you - friend/family member/class mate, talk with me, please think twice before you switch me, stutter, to something more... stimulating.
