This is false. Everyone you see is stressing about different aspects of themselves: some are worried they sound like an idiot, some are distracted, some are worried about the tone of their voice, some are worried about being too tall or too short, some are worried about being too poor to dress well, others are worried about their breath or upset about being perceived as inferior - you just worry about your stutter while everyone else is worried about something else. And it's likely that the people in your office pay no notice to your stutter just as you don't notice the guy who thinks he's too short and so on. This 'my life would be perfect if I don't didn't stutter' is a complete myth. What is ruining your life is your choice to let others dictate how you view yourself and how you feel about yourself. If your stutter disappeared tomorrow your life would still be 'bad' because you'd find something else where others judge you. What sets you free? Self esteem. That's right, you can control how you feel about yourself. Stop letting fear of judgement of others ruin your life.
