Gee, I don’t know about any other drug. I went to California and was seen by Dr. Maguire. He prescribed a recen and commonly used drug in the same class as Abilify. It was Caplyata. I don’t recall that dose. I only took it for 3+ months. It was very disappointing that the one drug that Dr Maguire prescribed was so unhelpful. If anything I believe that I stuttered more. That was a year ago. About side effects. The only ones that I experienced were dry mouth from ALL of them and insomnia and restless legs from Abilify. Perhaps the 10 lb weight gain in 8 months from Seroquel. You requested a copy of the prescription label from Abilify. I really feel uncomfortable about that. There’s a lot of location information on that. I would redact my name. Perhaps, after a more lengthy relationship, I might feel more comfortable and only in DM. I can tell you it’s 1mg in am. The tablets only come as small as 2 mgs in the US so I have to use a pill splitter. All I can say is that I feel much better. Very motivational but not hypomanic, no depression or anxiety, and extremely hopeful. The scary warnings online about most psychoactive medications would scare anyone. I am very susceptible to suggestion. There is phenomenon called the nocebo effect. It’s the opposite of the placebo effect which is a positive response. The nocebo effect causes negative reactions upon knowing product warnings. I never read these unless I’m experiencing an issue after taking a drug. Of course, everyone’s physiology is unique. You might experience negative reactions. I give medications for any condition a chance, especially for stuttering. If you’re interested perhaps you would consider Chat. I feel comfortable discussing medications in a more private venue.
