I am a female stutterer. I had a job interview back in November of 2025. On my resume I put that I volunteer as an NSA co-chapter leader and typed out what NSA stood for. I don’t remember mentioning my stutter though. Fortunately, I got the job and begin tomorrow (01/12/2026). I will eventually have to mention my stutter but I didn’t want to mention anything in the interview. I’ve had negative reactions from revealing my speech. Granted, I have a mild stutter, so it’s not really as bad as it was when I was a kid. Nonetheless, I did really well in the interview. I think it was also because the interviewers were chill. They didn’t seem like their vibe was corporate-y or rigid.
