The most important thing you need to do is ignore you're child's stuttering. Talk to him and listen to him like he doesn't have a stutter. I have vivid memories of everyone in my family bringing up stuttering to me when I was a kid and the way they talked to me really cemented the idea that I stuttered in my subconscious.
