The goal with the stuttering is to become more confident and less anxious (actually this also applies to everyone, not just PWS). I do not want to make a long post, but I will give a few pointers. You can search this group regarding each one, as people have written extensively regarding each one. - Just improve yourself. Go to the gym, read books, music, engage in different hobbies, meet people etc. Try to be genuine and a good person. Think and care about others especially the loved/close ones. At the same time focus on improving yourself: physically and a as a human being. - Experiment with different exercises for speech. It could be singing (I do it with guitar, for instance). Read out loud to practice articulation. You can use DAF (google what that is. There are apps for that as well, try them) if you stutter hard and maybe read out loud with it. As all people but especially PWS we need to really work on speech and articulation. Do some research about that see what works for you. Stay consistent. - PWS have different types of stuttering. In many anxiety plays a big role, whether it is physical anxiety, which just simply increases stuttering, or social anxiety, which causes avoidance of social situations. The first type seems to be improved with exercises (mentioned before), but the other with overall confidence and self-esteem. The first pointer helps with that. When you will improve, that positive reinforcement will also reduce social anxiety. Another interesting direction is trying supplements that reduce anxiety. I will not touch the ones prescribed by the doctors/physicians/psychologists etc. as I am not a fan of those since they have many negative side effects. I would recommend experimenting with Ashwagandha, L-Theanine and Magnesium, as they are shown in research to reduce anxiety in most individuals. Do not stay in one place. Do not be pity. Stay strong! There may be cure in the future but there may be not. It is not under your control. However, many things are under your control. I gave you some ideas, that are hopefully useful, so do not waste time. You are very young, so start acting now!
