gave a huge presentation just yesterday (which went surprisingly well) and here are some tips that might help you based on my own experience: 1) prepare as much as you can. you don't need to memorize an entire script, but you should have a good idea about the points you want to cover in each slide (if you're presenting with slides, that is) 2) start by disclosing your stutter to the audience. i know it sounds hard, but i promise it helps a lot!! you'll feel much lighter, and you can focus on delivering the content of your presentation instead of continuously trying to hide your stutter. for example, i started my presentation yesterday with "Before I begin, I would like to inform you all that I stutter when I speak. So I ask for your understanding. If there is anything you would like me to repeat or clarify, please feel free to ask!" (this was met with a very positive response) 3) and lastly, just know that it is perfectly okay to stutter! even public speakers stumble over their words at times. we do so a bit more, but just think of your stuttering as a behavior rather than a personal flaw (because i promise you, it isn't!!) these are some tips which helped me, and i hope they'll be helpful for you as well. also, good luck with your presentation. you've got this!!
