The problem of anticipation with blocks A long time ago, I developed the habit of anticipating my blocks so that I can plan around them or substitute words. I'm sure many of you have done the same. However, at this point, I feel like this kind of avoidance behavior is making me stutter more. I ALWAYS anticipate my trouble words. This makes me ALWAYS stutter on them. In situations where I somehow am able to not anticipate trouble words, I can say them fluently. What I am trying to say is, I want to try to get rid of anticipation entirely, but it seems impossible. I've been doing it for so long that it seems like it's a habit that's engraved on my brain.
