One thing I've learned from talking to my...'specialist' from elementary school is to take a couple breaths first. How? In through the nose, out the mouth. And then, when you speak, inhale your breath, exhale just a bit, and then say what your gonna say. Just Breathe! Lol If you find yourself stuttering, still it helps to let them know you have a speech impediment. DO NOT LET THEM FINISH YOUR SENTENCES OR WORDS!! YOU DESERVE COMMON COURTESY JUST AS MUCH AS THE NEXT PERSON!!! IF THEY CAN'T RESPECT THAT, WALK AWAY!! Don't think for a second that wanting courtesy is "being too sensitive." In the end, you have to figure out what works best for you...
