It's only a problem because \*you\* say it's a problem. What if societal norms said we all had to be a certain height to be 'normal'? Then those who were born outside that height are deemed 'broken' and will feel a need to be 'healed'. Societal norms could just as easily say that people who stutter are 'cool' and maybe even people would adopt fake stutterers to act cool, too. It's all about public perception of 'norms'. There are people with stutters throughout history who find success without being 'healed'. In fact, stuttering improves communication skills by encouraging the use of more succinct language, and improves empathy, and improves us as listeners.
