Dont force words out if possible. Take a step back, take a breath and try again. Another thing is actively accepting the stutter. Noone is perfect, you just have difficulty speaking fluently. A way to cope with this, is taking your "disability" with humor. Laugh about it, smile, just be positive. This will also often lessen negative reactions from other people. Stuttering is exhausting for everyone, so try to lighten the mood. Maybe it helps you, maybe it doesnt, but smiling is always a good thing to keep in mind.
