Every person is different so Definitely ask but the most important things is to be supportive and be patient. Some people don't like having their sentences finished, I personally don't mind it. It helps me especially when my partner knows what I'm trying to say most of the time. Most people who hate jokes being made about them. I Hate jokes but my husband is the only one who I don't mind who makes jokes because I know he's not doing it to be mean. He's laughing with me, not at me My partner is so supportive when it comes to my stutter, I've gotten used to the teasing and bullying that comes along and when we're together and someone gives me crap about it he'll step and make them stop. He HATES when someone teases or bullys me about it
