same here, i've been a mild stutterer, when my daughter was 3 years old, she started her stuttering and my heart sank. we started her therapy when she was 4 i think and kept on it about 4-5 years on and off. i'm not sure the therapy actually helped her ability to speak but i'm sure it helped her attitude towards her speech and herself. she knows it's not just her and it is not her fault. she's in high school now she still stutters. more at home. but she's doing fine at school. she told me that she stutters much less outside home. so i strongly recommend to start any kind of therapy. just talking about it with someone without making a big deal out of it definitely helps i think. and like other post mentioned, as a stuttering parent, don't expect to cure her stuttering. your expectation will show and affect her.
