It does in a sense that it trains your brain to make you think you are fluent. If you can be fluent when you’re alone, you can be fluent whenever and whenever if you train your brain. Tell yourself you don’t stutter and first and foremost, address the anxiety that comes from speaking. Meditation helped me a lot. Also, reading Lee G Lovett’s book over and over again did wonders for me. I strongly recommend.
