I agree with everyone- follow your heart and passion!! !!!! I got a BA in psych and then a masters in public administration, which def had a lot more presentations than I was used to and expecting. I would also email my professors early on and tell them I stutter and how it impacts my participation. They were all very accommodating and helpful. For presentations, I would typically try and go first to get it over with. Don’t get me wrong, it was so so hard and so stressful, but sometimes the moment just catches up with you and you don’t think about it. Even when I did stutter, I was just happy it was over. Small steps are just as important as big leaps. And, don’t rush it. The courage to admit I stutter to my professors took 3-4 years. You got this! Follow your heart and passion. Don’t let your stutter dictate your future.
