I want to chime in here and give what insight I can for the naysayers. Firstly, good on you OP for coming to that conclusion. I wholeheartedly agree that my stutter is about 10 percent physical and 90 percent psychological. When I'm around close friends or in comfortable situations, or even just feeling particularly confident some days, I rarely stutter. In most other situations, I can hardly get a word out. For me, it is definitely related to my anxiety and fear of looking/sounding like an idiot. I have struggled with this fear for my entire life and recently started going to therapy for this anxiety. There's actually some strong scientific evidence (read: limited clinical experiments) that MDMA helps us cope with this anxiety. I'm on mobile right now, or I'd link some articles, but I strongly encourage doing some googling on it for yourself. Basically, MDMA has been shown to be an extremely effective tool in psychotherapy for anxiety disorders. One study even suggests that ONE session of MDMA guided psychotherapy can equate up to FIVE months of regular therapy for anxiety disorders. That's huge! It comes down to the chemical reactions in your brain that allows you to think differently about your problem, just like you mentioned. And it's not just a "dude you were high, it was a fleeting experience" like others have mentioned. It actually has long term lasting effects on your mental state. Unfortunately, We are so limited by the government and pharma lobbyists in what we are allowed to study when it comes to these illegal drugs. So studies like the one I mentioned above are few and far between. I hope that some day soon, we will be able to have full access to these drugs for clinical testing. Lastly, I'll be the worried parent for a second and remind you to always be careful when consuming drugs, especially powders and crystals that you can't be sure where they came from. ALWAYS use a drug testing kit if you're not sure about it. Other than that, have fun with psychedelics! They can truly be an eye-opening experience.
