I can totally understand your pain. In recent years, My stutter has become worse than it ever was. But for the past 5 days, I am practicing speech therapy on my own. So far, I have learned: 1. That one has to control and calm their mind and breath. 2. Pause even when you don't want to. At least it's better than to stutter. 3. Soften the words. Like I stutter on T, D, P. So I soften them to Th, Dh, Ph. e.g. Tea becomes Thea. 4. Use techniques like bouncing, prolongation and finish the word. 5. Also, have positivity that this is the worst you have faced and everything is going to be better from now on. These techniques may sound a lot theoretical and I haven't yet practiced them with real people (except my wife). I am going to practice it alone for one month and improve myself then I will practice with self-help group (discord chat-voice group). All in all, you just have to convince your subconscious mind that you don't stutter and it will go away. This is my agenda for the next 3 months. :)
