Confidence is the result of having a positive experiences. How do you become confident when your stutter is so severe you are barely able to communicate? That's the case for me. I'm very happy for you that things took a positive turn for you. Sadly I can't say that has happend to me yet. I started stuttering 25 years ago. Tried many different kinds of speech therapy, psychotherapy, medication and stuttering devices. None of it had any lasting effect for me. My stuttering always came back. How would you stay positive and keep hope that it will one day get better if you would be in my shoes?
