Stutter I finally am prescribed Abilify again. I had to stop taking it after 3 years of total fluency because of terrible insomnia. Not everyone has this side effect and it’s worth it to be totally fluent again. Don’t make the mistake of thinking it works for everyone. Each person’s neurology is unique and the positive effect is related to how your individual brain uses neurotransmitters. Antipsychotics can work if you find the one that helps you. Don’t be afraid of them. The right one can make all the difference. I’ll see if the Abilify has the same effect again. I’ve become desperate.
