Just a quick note about what’s shown here: “excuse me/bye” sharing one button might be a little confusing to English speakers. While something like “excuse me” *can* be used to exit a situation or leave, it’s most often used as a polite way to acknowledge doing something rude or inconveniencing someone (like burping or trying to move past them physically in a tight space). “Excuse me” to leave a conversation or room can be seen as a little clunky or awkward—someone might even think you have an emergency. More casual phrases for bye I can think of are like “see you later” or even “gotta go”.
