Well, my name's Dylan. I am 17 years old and about to finish high school. School for me could have been better, but then again it could have been worse. I lived in Michigan for 12 years before moving to Alabama (my dad found work down here). I didn't realize that what was wrong with my speech was a problem until I was about 11. It seemed to get worse after I found out I actually had a problem. What's really helped me through tough times is my Grandfather on my Mom's side. He stutters too and he has given me immense help with my speech. He said that a lot of his relatives stuttered and it's just something people are born with. I don't know why, but knowing that he stutters and that he had family members that stuttered really comforted me. The main problem I have with my speech is that I feel bad that people don't know *exactly* what I'm trying to relay to them. One habit I want to stop is that I switch out words that are harder to say with words that only somewhat easier, but when I do that I feel that I'm not getting out exactly what I want to say. Overall though, I feel that stuttering has helped me build character and I really do love talking to people. Alright, that's about it. Your turn.
