As a Christian i feel betrayed by God

As a Christian i feel betrayed by God I shouldn't have to go through hell if God really is with me. As ive said in an earlier post i sometimes wonder if am actually dead and am in hell without knowing. What good is eternal life if i dont have life here on earth, this is not life. I feel like am burning alive every time I cant get a word out.
