Thanks for your response. It's very interesting to get another stutterers POV on the affect of different drugs.. for me, caffeine has always helped my fluency, so I'm somewhat addicted. I have quit caffeine for up to 3 months before to prove that I don't need it, but ultimately I prefer the fluency boost. Alcohol for an interview I think is normal even for non-stutterers so definitely take that win haha And yeah I'd say the fluency dip on your period must be exhausting, like something uncontrollable that forces you to put more effort in. Curious, does it bother you when your fluency dips and people notice more? Or do you get on with it okay. Yep agreed, gotta keep challenging. But sometimes it's nice to sit back and use the crutches :)
