Thanks for this post, I like it so much I copied it into a word document and saved it, for whenever I want to reread it. It's tough, and much easier to say than do, but you've inspired me to try to behave the way you describe. I know it can only be good for me. I've attended a 3 week intensive speech therapy course 2 summer's ago, and during that time it worked, but I've had a hell of a time actually implementing it spontaneous conversations, and ultimately just kind of gave up on it. I know I have the tools, but really, worst comes to worst, even if I can't control my speech the way I was taught in those courses, if I'm able to openly speak, regardless of stuttering, then I win either way.
